The Prediction Contest returns for its 5th season! The competition is free and open to anyone. With great prizes at stake, you don't want to miss out.

All you need to do is register on the contest page (under the Fan Zone menu), then start making your picks for the VTB United League regular season.

The contest rules are simple. You'll be asked to predict the following before each game:

– Winning team
– Margin of victory (in five-point increments)
– Top scorers on each team

At the end of each game, you'll be awarded points according to the following system:

– 1 point for correctly predicting the winning team
– 3 points for picking the top scorer (if two or more teammates tie for the game-high in -points, you’ll still receive credit for your choice)
– 10 points for predicting the margin of victory (provided you guessed the winning team)
– 20 points for getting every prediction right (winning team, margin of victory and top scorers)

The top five contestants at the end of the VTB United League regular season will receive an all-expenses paid trip to the VTB United League playoff finals, where they will compete for a grand prize!

Krasnodar fan Dmitriy Fatyanov took first place in 2011 in the first-ever competition, winning anSsangYong Rexton all-terrain vehicle at the Final Four in Kazan.

In the 2011-12 season, Andrey Rud (Belarus) claimed the grand prize, an iMac computer from League sponsor Asteros. Five more contestants won iPad 3 tablets: Alexander Pilkov (Moscow), Saulius Laurinaitis and Saulius Morozovas (Kaunas), Dmitriy Khodirev (Pushkino) and Konstantin Teengaev (Perm).

During the 2012-13 season, at the playoff finals in Moscow, Georgi Nistratov from Kazan won the grand prize – a high-quality MacBook Air. Four more fans that finished in the Prediction Contest’s Top 5 (Andrei Kyubyshev and Vladimir Dunaev from Moscow, Valery Dudarenko from Nevel and Dmitrii Luksha from Vilnius) won iPad minis!

Plus, the Prediction Contest was held during the VTB United League Playoffs for the first time ever. Three fans won brand souvenirs and gifts from the League, while the top contestant – Aleksandr Venediktov from Moscow – won an additional prize – a basketball autographed by CSKA’s entire championship team.

Last season, Kaunas fan Valentas Slaustas took home the grand prize, a MacBook Air, during halftime of Game 2 in the CSKA – Nizhny Novgorod finals. The other four fans from the regular season's Top 5 (Kornelius Paluskas from Klaipeda, Vadim Vlasenko from Kiev, Aleksandr Sushkov from Donetsk and Aleksei Antonov from Kazan) received iPad Minis.

A special edition of the Prediction Contest was also held during the playoffs for the second year in a row. The top three contestants won VTB United League merchandise, while the overall winner,Aleksandr Ivashchenko from Brest, also received a basketball autographed by CSKA's entire championship team.
