BC Astana have met with the leadership of the FIBA

Today, July 24, in Geneva, was the official meeting of the Managing Director of National Welfare Fund Samruk-Kazyna Darkhan Kaletayev and CEO of BC Astana Valeriy Tihonenko with the Secretary General of the International Basketball Federation (FIBA) – Mr. Patrick Baumann.
 
At the meeting, the sides discussed issues of cooperation of Kazakhstan’s club Astana with FIBA.
 
Also the management of FIBA ​​and the general sponsor of the capital team Samruk-Kazyna have discussed the future participation of Astana in the tournament EuroChallenge.

 
 
During the meeting the two sides have found understanding, resulting in the management of BC Astana gaining the support of Mr. Patrick Baumann.
